My first steps
Recently, I've come to realize the need for a change in my daily habits. Spending eight hours a day working in front of monitors, followed by more screen time on my phone, isn't the healthiest choice. Additionally, after engaging in sports activities, I find myself lacking energy at home. Hence, I've decided to pursue a creative hobby that's both engaging and affordable.
Initially, I experimented with watercolors, which proved to be enjoyable. However, despite the fun, I don't believe I possess the innate talent or motivation to reach a satisfactory skill level in that medium. Consequently, I began reminiscing about my grandmother teaching me how to cross-stitch many years ago.
Equipped with threads, suitable fabric for making bookmarks, and a set of needles, I embarked on my cross-stitching journey. My first project was a sunflower bookmark intended for my mum. Little did I realize at the time that I had chosen a design that was more intricate than anticipated.

And here's the final result. How did I fare for a first attempt? I believe it's not too shabby.
